It sounds irresistable! this is the second time I've admired the heck out of an author for being so smart as to get someone else to pay for their travelling fun by arranging a book deal out of it: the previous travel memoir like that I read (and enjoyed) was 'Around the World in 80 Dates' by a woman who works for Lonely Planet and was looking for her true love. Whether or not she would find him by the end, she had a book deal in hand - very smart.
