And I'm Off: Read-A-Thon Update 1

It is finally here—Dewey's 24-Hour Read-A-Thon!

It is 8:37 a.m. and Mr. Jenners just got up to "take control" of the Little One (who has been up since 6:00 a.m. with me). So I'm about to commence my official reading for the Read-A-Thon (or as Mr. Jenners's just called it "The Championship for Lazy People." Poop on him!!!).

First off, I plan to knock off a very short book, The Big Ball of Blame, to get me off to a good start and then I'm going to dive into Z for Zachariah.

I'll be back in about 2 hours for my first update.

Let the reading begin!

A big "yeah" to Mr. Jenners for supporting you! My man is a non-reader as well and is trying not to roll his eyes as he watches football all.day.long! Read away!

Traditional read-a-thon blessing:

May the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.

Good luck today!
